(For Martin’s 5-minute video from Istanbul, click here.)
Suddenly, Turkey has emerged as a major focal point in a new conflict between East and West.
And that’s exactly where I just shot this new video.
In fact, just as I was on my way here from Italy, ISIS launched a brutal suicide attack on a wedding party in the southeast of the country.
And just as I was caught in an Istanbul traffic jam, President Erdoğan invaded Syria with tanks and airstrikes against ISIS positions.
But this is only ONE aspect of the crisis I see all around me here in Turkey’s largest city.
In my just-released, 5-minute video, I show you …
- How Turkey’s crisis is rooted in a millennial conflict between empires …
- Where and when the country has blatantly defied Europe since the 1970s …
- Why the crisis is currently a powerful bullish force in U.S. markets …
- And how it could morph into an equally powerful bearish force in the future.
