Bill Hall, previously the CEO of W.P. Stewart Asset Management, is the editor of The Park Avenue Society.
With more than 25 years in the investment- and wealth-management business, Bill has founded his own accounting firm and served as the managing director of a large regional trust company.
Bill was one of the first financial professionals to attain the credentials of Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP). He earned them by the time he was 34 years old.
Currently, he is the president, managing director and senior investment counselor of Plimsoll Mark Capital, a Maine-based firm that provides financial, tax and investment advice to wealthy families.
For The Park Avenue Society, Bill shares with readers some of the same strategies and investments that his firm uses to help some of the world’s wealthiest and most sophisticated investors preserve and grow their family fortunes.
In his free time, Bill serves as the chairman of Maine Education Services. In 2012, he published his newest book, “Changing the Game: How to Profit from Your Passion for Sports, by a Wall Street Investment Manager.”
Born in Indiana and raised in Virginia, Bill graduated with honors from the University of Richmond and received a master’s degree in finance from Bentley College in Massachusetts. He lives in Maine with his wife, Jenny, and their three sons.
