Barbara Rockefeller

Barbara Rockefeller has more than two decades of experience as a currency analyst. She’s an international economist, a trader specializing in foreign exchange, a newsletter publisher, and an author.
Ms. Rockefeller began her financial career working as a loan officer in the multinational division at Manufacturers Hanover Trust. Then she became a foreign exchange advisor at Brown Brothers Harriman. Ms. Rockefeller moved on to work at Citibank’s treasury division with a specialization in foreign exchange and was promoted to senior risk manager in the international division.
Today, Ms. Rockefeller is the editor of the twice-daily newsletter Rockefeller Forex Trader, writes a monthly column for Currency Trader as well as articles and book reviews for Active Trader and Stocks, Futures and Options.
She is also the author of four books:

The Global Trader

How to Invest Internationally
Ms. Rockefeller has a degree in economics from Reed College and a masters degree in international affairs from Columbia University.
