Mike Burnick

Mike Burnick, Director of Research and Client Communications for Weiss Capital Management, Inc., an independent Registered Investment Adviser of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla, is a member of the Weiss Capital Management Investment Committee and directs the firm’s investment research and communications efforts, which include frequent commentaries and communication of the firm’s investment views for clients and the public via various media, including: print, television and radio, seminars, and the Weiss Capital Management website, www.WeissCM.com.

A 20-year veteran of the financial industry, Mike has served as an investment advisor, portfolio manager, securities analyst, and investment editor. He has also hosted his own investment radio program, and has edited several financial newsletters. Today, Mike specializes in monitoring global financial markets and identifying emerging investment trends for Weiss Capital Management. He is also the past founder and president of Jupiter Capital Management, an investment consulting firm.

Mike holds a Bachelors degree in Finance and Management from Stetson University. When not focused on financial markets, Mike is an avid boater and saltwater angler, and is also active in local youth soccer programs. He lives in Palm Beach County, Florida with his wife and two daughters.
