Larry Edelson's Factoids

Larry showed his inclination towards international markets at a very early age. While very active in sports, Larry frequently spent vast amounts of time reading National Geographic magazines. Larry credits his father, Dr. Irving Edelson and his mom with helping him to think with a global perspective. They kept a vast, extensive library of National Geographic right outside his bedroom.
In addition to being one of the largest gold traders in the world in the mid-1980’s, Larry was also one of the first traders to help make liquid markets in over-the-counter options traded on Treasury bills. A precursor to the hugely successful Treasury bill futures contracts that subsequently started trading on the Chicago futures exchanges.
Recently, Larry has taken up a major cause, based on his insights and leading forecasts in a market that will soon affect everyone on the planet: The world’s growing water crisis.
